“Design and Fabrication of Cashew Fruit Processor for Procuring Seed, Nector and Roughage” Wins Encouragement Award at Innovative Project competition Organized by GCCI

The GCCI Education committee in association with Goa state Innovation Council hosted the finals of the ‘Innovative Projects Competition of Engineering  Colleges’ of Goa 2018-19 on March 2, 2019  at Sanskriti Bhavan , Patto.

The Competition involved 25 teams and more than 100 students of five engineering colleges of Goa –GEC , AITD, DBCE and PCCE. These were shortlisted from 159 projects. Two projects namely “Design and Fabrication of Cashew nut processor for procuring seed, Nector and Roughage” guided  by  Prof. Ishan Kossambe  and “Design and Fabrication of Solar Panel Cleaning Robot” guided by  Prof. Ajit Salunke were selected from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

The project “Design and Fabrication of Cashew nut processor for procuring seed, Nectar and Roughage” won the encouragement award. They received a winner’s trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- for the same.
