Director’s Birthday

The staff of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, alongside the Student Council, celebrated the 60th birthday of the Director, Reverend Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, on 10th November 2023. The celebration began in the evening with a floral welcome to Father, with the Principal, Dr Neena Panandikar, saying a few words and echoing the grateful thoughts of everyone present.

Praise and worship followed with good wishes was conveyed to Father, through three hymns. This was followed by a presentation of a Sanskrit birthday song, and later a Konkani one sung while cutting of the cake.

Fr. Ralin De Souza, Rector Don Bosco, reiterated his working experience with Fr Kinley D’Cruz and commended his ability to work humbly in a team.

The evening was elevated by Shayaris and Gulzars; as well as two nostalgic Hindi songs solo-sung by two staff members followed by games and a dance performance by the student council. Delectable chaat was served and live music entertained the crowd.

Fr. Kinley conveyed his gratitude to the gathering and fondly recollected the inception of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda.
