Dr.Gaurang Patkar wins GTA award 2021

Goa Technology Association (GTA), an association of IT companies in Goa, organized their fourth anniversary with a Tech meet and award night. Honorable Chief minister of Goa, Dr.Pramod Sawant was the Chief Guest and Minister of Information Technology, Ms. Jennifer Monserrate was the Guest of Honor. Dr. Gaurang S Patkar, Head of Department of Computer Engineering, Don Bosco College of Engineering, Goa was conferred with GTA award and 1000 FOHO coins for his contribution in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. He was the only faculty chosen for this award from all engineering colleges in Goa. The event was in DoubleTree by Hilton, Panaji.

The event was attended by IT, ITES and tech startups from Goa and began with a session from Flipkart on the future of e-commerce payments, followed by many sessions from reputed companies in and around Goa.
