Engineers Day Celebrations by Institution of Engineers (India) Goa State Center

The Institution of Engineers (India), Goa State Center celebrated Engineers day on 16th September 2017 at hotel Fidalgo, Panjim. The Chief Guest for the function was Shri Vijai Sardessai, Hon. Minister for Town & Country Planning, Agriculture and factories & Boilers. Dr. Gopal Mugeraya, Director NIT, Goa was the key note speaker.
Prof. Ajit Salunke, HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Prof. Sharad Shanbhag attended the function. Prof. Ajit Salunke was felicitated for contribution to technical activities for the year 2017-18.
The technical activities of the DBCE IEI chapter were highlighted at the Annual General Body meeting which was held before the commencement of the Engineers Day function.
