Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme By EDII

The Entrepreneurship Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda Goa, in association with the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Goa and EDII (Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India) organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) on Saturday, 23rd August 2025 at DBCE Fatorda from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.

The programme aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial spirit among budding engineers and encouraging them to think innovatively. The key topics covered during the session included:

• Essence of Entrepreneurship – understanding the mindset, qualities, and journey of entrepreneurs.
• Business Model Canvas – learning how to systematically design and analyze business ideas.
• Different Government Schemes for Entrepreneurs – exploring financial and developmental support offered by the Government of India and the State of Goa.

The session was nicely taken by Ms. Rutuja S & Ms. Durva Vithal from EDII.

The sessions were interactive and insightful, equipping students with knowledge about opportunities and challenges in entrepreneurship. It also motivated them to consider entrepreneurship as a career option and provided awareness about the resources available to support their journey.

Overall, the Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme was a valuable and inspiring initiative, contributing significantly to the vision of nurturing job creators rather than job seekers.
