Germinate IT! By E-Cell
The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of Don Bosco College of Engineering, hosted a one-day event titled ‘Germinate IT!’ on August 24, 2024. This event was specifically for Second-Year E-Cell students to nurture their entrepreneurial skills and provide a platform to showcase their innovative business ideas.
The competition was coordinated by Ms. Mathilda Colaco, Assistant Professor, ECS Department and hosted by Mr. Sanjeev Parab, Second-Year Civil Engineering Student. The event featured a series of presentations where participating teams outlined their business ideas, accompanied by comprehensive marketing strategies, financial viability assessments, and analyses of market opportunities.
The ideas were critically evaluated by distinguished judges: Mr. Selvyn Fernandes and Dr. Shreyas Simu, both Assistant Professors in the ECS Department at DBCE. Their expertise provided valuable insights into the feasibility and potential impact of the proposed business models.
The event was a resounding success, highlighting the innovative spirit of the students and fostering a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial journey.
