Global Tech Summit 2024: Unleash the Future

Vibrant Goa Foundation organized Global Tech Summit Goa – Unleash the Future, on 22^nd and 23^rd March 2024, which was a premier event that aimed at empowering businesses with the transformative power of technology, ensuring they are future ready and capable of capitalizing on new opportunities in today’s rapidly evolving landscape. Supported by the Government of Goa and major business associations, this event promised to be a convergence of industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers.

At the Vibrant Goa event, our college (DBCE’s) active participation provided valuable opportunities to showcasing their achievements, fostering collaborations, and networking with industry leaders and fellow academics, leading to the exchange of ideas. DBCE displayed three products: the PLC Kit, the Arduino Kit, and the PCB engraving Machine. Among them, the PCB engraving machine, crafted by Mr. Aloysius Baptista, received much appreciation from industry experts and delegates. Its innovative design and functionality captured the attention of attendees, showcasing DBCE’s commitment to technological advancement and engineering excellence. The machine’s success at Vibrant Goa underscores the institution’s contribution to the development of cutting-edge solutions in the field of electronics and manufacturing.

The Robotics Club of DBCE RoboCom, led by Prof. Flavia Leitao,had anexciting time at the Global Tech Summit, while hosting their event, the Robo Racer, which brought together tech enthusiasts and innovators from around the globe to push the limits of robotics. From fierce competition to groundbreaking sights of the sleek machines zoom around the track with expert manoeuvers, thus pushing the limits of speed and precision. Events like these not only provide a platform for showcasing talent but also foster an environment of learning, collaboration, and innovation.

It was impressive to see nine teams participating like Iron Giants, Brain bots, Phoenix, BHP, and X-Machine, etc. which got a variety of innovative designs, strategies, and technology to the competition, making the Robo Race even more exciting and challenging.

The Brain bots team secured both the first and second place positions in the Robo Race, which highlighted the team’s exceptional skill, innovation, and dedication to robotics. In the third position was team Phoenix, whose achievement demonstrates their competitive spirit in the face of tough competition.

The success of the winning teams, along with the participation of other teams, underscores the vibrancy and excitement within the robotics community. It was impressive to see such talented teams competing and pushing the boundaries of robotics at events like the Global Tech Summit.
