Gratitude and Farewell to Director, Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz

After 15 years of dedicated service, Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Director of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, bids farewell to the institution he helped shape into a vibrant centre of learning and growth. As he steps into a new chapter, the DBCE family: management, staff, faculty, and students, join in wishing him good health, peace, and continued success in all his future endeavours.

Fr. Kinley has been a visionary leader, a patient mentor, and the steady hand behind many of the college’s achievements and values. To honour his contribution and mark his departure, the college community came together for a heartfelt farewell ceremony. The event began with a serene and meaningful prayer service centred around Father, filled with gratitude, reflection, and spiritual warmth. It was a quiet reminder of the faith and integrity that have been the core of his leadership.

This was followed by a series of touching speeches from members of the management, staff, faculty. Each speaker reflected on the many roles Fr. Kinley has played over the years: builder, guide, motivator, and friend. The Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar, in her heartfelt note, reflected on the collaborative and trusting relationship she shared with Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, one that saw many milestones achieved through shared vision and dedication. .Emotions ran high as memories were shared and his influence remembered. Tokens of appreciation and thoughtful gifts were presented to express love and admiration for his unwavering commitment.

In his address, Fr. Kinley spoke with humility and assurance, expressing confidence that DBCE would continue to grow and thrive in the years to come. The DBCE Family wishes that Father’s next journey be as inspiring as the legacy he leaves behind.
