India International Innovation & Invention Expo 2024 (INEX 2024) at DBCE, Fatorda
The India International Innovation & Invention Expo 2024 (INEX 2024) organized by the Indian Innovators Association in collaboration with IBS Global, Poland, under the esteemed patronage of the Goa State Innovation Council, supported by various Ministries, Industry Associations and premier Indian Research and Development Institutes, was held at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, Goa, India.
Participants and dignitaries inspired by a shared vision of shaping the future through creativity and innovation attended the event. The three-day event served as a vibrant platform for innovators, industry leaders, and young minds to exchange ideas, present ground-breaking solutions, and celebrate the spirit of innovation.

The event was graced by Shri Aleixo R. Lourenco, MLA of Curtorim and Chairman of the Goa Industrial Development Corporation, as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished dignitaries included Prof. Krystyna Tosik, Scientist and Manager at Lukasiewicz – Lodz Institute of Technology, Poland; Ms. Saraswathy A/P Suppiramaniam, Representative of MIICA, Malaysia; Mr. Jose Manuel Noronha, Chairman of the Goa State Innovation Council; Mr. Ankit Yadav, IAS, Director of Science and Technology; Mr. Raman Teja Venigalla, Chief Technology Officer of IBS Global; Ms. Edyta Wolczyk, CEO of IBS Global; Dr. A.S. Rao, President of the Indian Innovators Association; Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal of DBCE; and Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Director of DBCE.
A key highlight of INEX 2024 was the launch of the “Innovation Yearbook 2024”, a compilation of outstanding innovations from the past year. The yearbook, unveiled by the esteemed dignitaries, celebrates the creativity and impact of these contributions, reflecting the spirit of innovation driving the event.
The launch was followed by a panel discussion on “Leveraging Innovation Ecosystem for Promoting Young Innovators Globally”. Moderated by Mr. Raman Teja Venigalla, CTO of IBS Global, the session explored how to build ecosystems that empower young innovators to address global challenges.
Participants showcased a wide array of innovative projects that addressed pressing global challenges. The event featured three categories of awards—Gold, Silver, and Bronze— alongside the Young Creator Category, INEX Grand Prix, INEX Best International Innovation, INEX Best National Innovation and INEX Higher Education Insitutions Award, recognizing excellence in innovation. The closing ceremony celebrated the achievements of participants from around the world – namely, Poland, Malaysia, various Indian States, Engineering Colleges – and acknowledged the efforts of the organizing team.
DBCE and FiiRE (Forum for Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship) bagged the INEX 2024 HEI award for their contribution towards empowering innovations. Students from DBCE Nimish Floyd Noronha, Warren Rahul D’souza, Nolan Noel Goes, Rio Shawn De Mello, Shane Anthony Mendes with their Guide: Dr. Suraj Marathe won the Bronze Medal for their “Squat Analyser”.
INEX 2024 exemplified the spirit of innovation, inspiring participants to embrace challenges and continue their journey of creativity and problem-solving.
