Inspiring young minds at Bloomz International School

Dr. Ajit Salunke, an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Department at DBCE, delivered talk titled “Career Options in Mechanical Engineering in the 4th Industrial Revolution” for 11th standard students at Bloomz International School, Nuvem, Goa on 6/2/26.

During the presentation, Prof. Salunke introduced students to the broad areas of Mechanical Engineering and career opportunities in the same. He also dealt on the recent trends in the field of mechanical engineering like robotics, electric vehicles, 3D Printing and Smart Manufacturing. He elaborated on how smart technologies such as Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence & Machine learning are transforming modern industries.

Dr. Ajit also spoke about the roles and career opportunities available for mechanical engineers in the era of Industry 4.0. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, during which students had the opportunity to clarify their doubts.
