Intercollegiate Athletics Championship 2024–25

The Intercollegiate Athletics Championship for the academic year 2024–25 was successfully organized by Goa University, drawing participation from various colleges across the state.

A contingent of 33 students from Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Fatorda participated in multiple track and field events across both men’s and women’s categories.

Performance Highlights:

• Bhasker Gain, a standout athlete from DBCE, secured gold medals in both the Discus Throw and Shot Put events, bringing pride to the college.
• Apart from Bhasker’s victories, other DBCE athletes participated in various events, gaining valuable experience and exposure, though they did not secure podium finishes.

The championship served as an excellent platform for our athletes to compete at a high level and demonstrate their abilities. While the results this year were modest, the enthusiasm and determination shown by the team indicate strong potential for future events. Special congratulations to Bhasker Gain for his remarkable double-gold performance.
