Kshitij 2019 to be held at Don Bosco College of Engineering

Mr. Nilesh Cabral, Hon. Minister for Environment, Science & Technology will be the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Function of Kshitij 2019, a three day technical event to be held from 25^th to 27th July 2019 at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda. Dr. Ganesh Shetgaonkar, Chairman, Goa State Pollution Control Board will inaugurate the event on 25^th July and Mr. Manoj Caculo, President, Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry will be the Guest of Honor for the Valedictory Function.

 Kshitij 2019, a Institute Social Responsibility initiative of DBCE will showcase exhibition under the following 5 categories ; Academic Projects Competition for students of Engineering Colleges and Polytechnics, Mini Technical & Science Projects competition for DBCE students in association with Institution  Innovation Council, Project Competition for high school and secondary school students in association with  Indian Society for Heating, Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Goa Chapter and Industry Expo.

The exhibition is open to School & College students, Academicians, Industry, Interested Professionals and the General Public. The exhibition timings are 11.30 am. to 4.30 pm (1^st Day), 9.30 am to 4.30 pm (2^nd Day) and 9.30 am to 11.00 am (3rd Day).

Kshitij 2019 will also include parallel events; One day workshop on “Safety at Workplace”

for secondary and higher secondary school science teachers, Quiz Competition for 8^th to 10^th std. students in association with Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI), Goa Chapter & ONGC, IPSHEM, Talk on “Space Exploration” by Dr. Vittal Tilvi, Scientist (NASA) and Panel Discussion on “Addressing Engineering Skills, Gaps & Links with Industry” for  DBCE students.
