Mr. Kedar Acharya Achieves 98th All India Rank in GATE examination

Mr. Kedar Acharya, Alumni of Mechanical Engineering Department from the 2015 batch of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda Secured an All India Rank (AIR) Of 98 with a percentile of 96.638 at the GATE 2017 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) in Production and Industrial Engineering (PI) Section . A Total of 2915 candidates appeared for this particular section.
GATE 2017 is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven IITs on behalf of the National Coordination Board, Department of Higher Education, HRD ministry. It tests the comprehensive understanding of engineering and science students of various undergraduate subjects. The test scores are used for admission to master of engineering, master of technology and PhD programmes in the Indian Institute of Science, IIT and other higher educational institutes in India. About 20 PSUs also use GATE scores for recruitment.
