Participation in Intercollegiate Badminton Tournament

The intercollegiate badminton tournament witnessed an impressive participation from Don Bosco College of Engineering. There were 43 teams competing in the men’s category and 41 teams in the women’s category.

The DBCE men’s team from demonstrated strong performance throughout the tournament. They started with a convincing victory against Narayan Zantye College, Bicholim, winning in straight sets. The momentum continued as they secured a win against Dempo College, Miramar, followed by another victory against C.E.S College, Cuncolim. However, their journey came to an end whilst competing with Dempo College, Cujira.

The DBCE women’s team also showcased commendable skills. They began with a win against PES College of Pharmacy, followed by another triumph against Rosary College, Navelim. Unfortunately, their run was halted in the pre-quarterfinals by GMC, Bambolim, with a close 2-1 set loss.
