Participation in Intercollegiate Kabaddi Tournament

Men’s Kabaddi Team

The DBCE men’s Kabaddi team enthusiastically participated in the Intercollegiate Kabaddi Championship organised by Goa University on 3^rd September 2025, which witnessed the participation of 28 teams from across the state.

In their opening fixture, DBCE faced the spirited side of Sanquelim Government College. Despite a determined start and consistent efforts, the team was unable to match the opposition’s pace and strength. The match concluded with DBCE losing by a scoreline of 53–17.

Though the result was not in our favour, the tournament provided the players with valuable exposure against top competitors and an opportunity to learn and improve. The experience will undoubtedly help the team in preparing stronger strategies and enhancing performance in upcoming tournaments.

Women’s Kabaddi Team

The Women’s Kabaddi Team of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, in their opening match, the team faced Shree Mallikarjun College. It was a competitive encounter, with both teams displaying great energy and teamwork. Despite their strong effort, the DBCE girls lost the match with a final score of 51-41.

The team showed commendable spirit and determination throughout the game, reflecting their commitment and hard work. Though the result did not go in their favour, the performance was promising and sets a foundation for future tournaments.
