Participation of Robocom at Tech-Coronation 2025

The Robotics Club Robocom of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, under the guidance of Prof. Flavia Leitao, actively participated in Tech Coronation 2025, a two-day technical fest held on 25th and 26th February 2025 at the Taleigao Community Centre Hall, Panaji, Goa. The event was organized by the Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khandola – Marcel, and featured a range of robotics competitions that drew participation from institutions across Goa.

Robocom took part in three events — Robo-Sumo, Robo Racer, and Robo Soccer. In Robo-Sumo, participants Maynard Rodrigues, Reuben Fernandes, Mazen Leitao, and Roshbon Fernandes displayed impressive bot design and strategic combat skills.

In the Robo Racer category, Team 1 included Zoe Zuzarth, Jeziah D’Souza, Sania Suleman, and Madhura Fal Dessai, while Team 2 comprised Roshbon Fernandes, Reeve Fernandes, Kevin Fernandes, and Ashley Fernandes. Both teams tackled complex tracks with speed and precision.

Robo Soccer featured two energetic teams: Team 1 – Mazen Leitao, Clayne, Jeziah D’Souza, and Aliya Saldanha; and Team 2 – Danely Gomes, Kingel Fernandes, Esther Mascarenhas, and Sabarinath P. The matches were marked by strategic play and sharp coordination.

Though the club did not secure any prizes, the event offered a rich learning experience. Participants gained hands-on exposure, engaged in live problem-solving, and returned inspired and determined to excel in future competitions.
