QuantaQuest by SEEDS

The Department of Science and Humanities in association with SEEDS 2023-24, organised QuantaQuest on 16^th April 2024. The aim of the event was to simplify Mathematics Concepts for elementary school students. Participants had to teach a given topic by simplifying concepts, using presentations and necessary props. The judges for the event were Dr. Sebastian Mesquita, Professor and Head of the Department of Science & Humanities, Goa Engineering College, and Mr. Justiniano Oliver De Souza, retd. Professor and Tutor at Oliver Maths Tutorials. Teams of 5 participants from each class presented on topics such as Mensuration, Surface Area and Volumes, Trigonometry, Probability and Graphs.
