Defence Innovation Talk  

The Goa State Higher Education Council, and Directorate of Higher Education organized Defence Innovation talk for the students of our college (DBCE) and Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering & Information Technology on Tuesday, 16 April 2024 in Seminar Hall 2 at our college.

The speakers were Veteran Wing Commander M Jeyakumar who served as a Flying Navigator in the Indian Air Force, and Col N Selva Kumar (Retd.), CEO, Bridge Bharat Council for promotion of Innovation Research and Entrepreneurship. In this session, the speakers focused on Defence projects in Innovation, establishing design labs, R&D for scholars and students, government initiatives that focus on innovation such as IDEX Prime, DISC, TDF, IDEX ADITI, Make I, II, III projects, GeM, PLI and SLI Schemes, and many more.

The session was coordinated by Dr. Niyan Marchon, Professor, Goa State Higher Education Council, Directorate of Higher Education, and Ms. Shahana Shaikh.
