Report for ACREX 2019
The students of Mechanical Engineering of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda-Goa visited the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai on the 28th February to the 2nd of March 2019 for ACREX 2019. The entire exhibition was divided in 4 segments and a registration hall. At the event, Hall no.1 and Hall no. 2 were under the banner of ACREX. The respective exhibits had HVACR related products displayed by reputed companies like Aacro Engineering Projects Pvt. Ltd, ACREX 2020, ASHRAE, AMCA, AHRI, Asawa Insulation Pvt. Ltd, Baba Enterprises India, CET Enviro Pvt. Ltd, Cosmo Industrial Products Pvt. Ltd, Dalton India, Delta Power Solution India Pvt. Ltd, Langfang Dongxin Shenzhou Trade Co. Ltd, Flex Insulation, Satis Machinery Co. Ltd, and so on. The students gained immense knowledge of the different HVACR products and their Innovation in the Modern Market. The students were allowed to take notes and pictures of the products displayed at the exhibit.
They visited Hall no. 3 which was under the banner of ISH India powered by IPA. The exhibits were on product groups like Bathroom experience, Kitchens, Building and Energy Technology, World of Installation, Efficient Systems and Renewable Energies. These products and systems were exhibited by the companies like Skill India, India Water Quality Association, IPSC, IGBC, HPMF(Hospitality Purchasing Manager’s Forum), and so on. The students acquired understanding and knowledge about the upcoming facilities and products of the future. Hall no. 4 was under the banner of FSIE (Fire and Security India Expo). The exhibits on display were by companies like Agni controls Chennai, Lubi pumps-motors, Merit Fire, Milestone, Mircom, Netix Controls, Nova, Secutron, SEIMENS ingennity for life, Startech Engineers, Viking and so on. These were mainly official experts, MEP consultants, OEMs, members of fire safety and fire prevention bodies. The students gained great knowledge and understanding on correct solutions for passive, active and organizational fire safety and the proper security management.
A total of 13 Final year Mechanical Engineering students participated in the expo and were accompanied by Prof Tanay Rege.
