Report on Goa Police Hackathon 2022

The Goa Police Hackathon 2022 was held on September 10th & 11th , at Goa Engineering College. This 48-hour hackathon was organised by the Goa Police.

A total of 48 teams from Goan colleges participated.

The duo representing Don Bosco College of Engineering was named Morse Coders; Pratham Shah and Ivan Azim.

The 1st round was about abstract submission, and 18 teams were filtered from the starting 48, for the next round.

The next round was presenting the working model.

Morse Coders built a Web Application on the problem statement: Decoding of Virtual Numbers within the given time, and finished third.

The guests for the event were the DGP of Goa, IG of Goa, Chief Secretary of Goa Ms. Tessy Thomas, DY SP of Goa, SP of Goa, PI’s of various police stations and numerous IAS and IPS officers posted in Goa.

Assistant Professors Ms Janhavi Naik and Mr Amey K. Shet Tilve mentored Morse Coders during this event.
