Report: Session on “Campus to Career”

An engaging and thought-provoking session on “Campus to Career” was organized by CII-IWN DBCE Chapter on 25^th February 2025, bringing together distinguished speakers and attendees. The event aimed to foster learning and inspiration through the exchange of valuable insights. The Resource speakers were Dr. Nimisha Saraswat, Chairperson CII IWN-Goa. and Ms. Sonia Kuncalienker, Business Development Leader and Sales Consultant, Goa. The event was also graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Neena Panandikar, CII IWN Co-Chair Ms. Smita Patil, CII Executive Officer Ms. Sharada Divkar, CII- IWN DBCE Chapter Faculty Coordinator Ms. Melba D’Souza and CII IWN members.

The Compere for the day was Ms. Disha Talaulikar.

The session began with a floral welcome given to all the dignitaries. This warm introduction set the stage for an enlightening gathering. The first talk was delivered by Dr. Nimisha Saraswat on Career planning. She provided valuable guidance and insights on Self-assessment, Career research, Interview preparation, Networking opportunities and Skill development. The second talk was given by Ms. Sonia Kuncalienker, titled ‘Hiring Quest,’ which delved into the intricacies of the hiring process and career opportunities. The speakers provided students with valuable insights into the corporate world, helping them understand industry expectations and career growth strategies. Their words inspired attendees to explore new perspectives and embrace growth opportunities.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and a token of appreciation presented to our guests. The session was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on all present.
