Researcher Dr. Neena Panandikar receives CSIR – ASPIRE laurel
Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal, Don Bosco College of Engineering has earned laurels for the state of Goa as she has been selected as one among 300 women scientists under the CSIR – ASPIRE Scheme, a central government’s initiative that aims to empower and encourage women in the field of scientific research.
Her research aims to contribute to sustainable development by the reduction in consumption of cement and using alternative sustainable material such as egg shell, crab shell and sea shell waste. She was selected among 53 women researchers in the discipline of engineering sciences.
Dr. Shwetha Prasanna, Professor and Head of the Civil Engineering department will be the Co-PI for this project.
