Robocom at Aispire 2025- GEC

The Robotics Club Robocom of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, under the mentorship of Prof. Flavia Leitao, proudly participated in Aispire—a technical event organized by the IEEE Student Branch of Goa College of Engineering—on 5th April 2025.

The event featured multiple robotics competitions including Roboracer, Robosoccer, and Line Follower Robot, offering a vibrant platform for innovation and collaboration.

In Roboracer, the team led by Mazen Leitao secured 3rd place after showcasing remarkable speed and control. In Robosoccer, the team led by Preston Dsilva reached the semi-finals, where they displayed commendable coordination but were edged out by Team Brainbots with a score of 5-2.

Robocom had three teams competing in the Line Follower Robot event. The team led by Sherwin Dias earned 2nd place with a precise and consistent run, while the team led by Mazen Leitao followed closely, finishing 4th. The third team, led by Vallan Mascarenhas, did not qualify for the finals but gained valuable experience.

Overall, Robocom’s participation in Aispire 2025 was a rewarding experience filled with learning, teamwork, and technical growth. Events like these continue to fuel the club’s commitment to practical innovation and engineering excellence.
