The Department of Science & Humanities’ SEEDS Council concluded its vibrant annual journey with a memorable Valedictory Ceremony on 26th April 2025 that celebrated innovation and student-creativity, A series of engaging events were organized throughout the year, each designed to nurture diverse talents. The Ceremony was graced by Dr. Sameer Patil, Controller of Examinations at Goa University, who served as the Chief Guest. He delivered an insightful talk as a part of National Digital Library of India (NDLI) and presided over the prize distribution ceremony.

Among the highlights was T-Sports, a gaming event that tested participants’ reflexes and decision-making skills. TedX Style Talks saw students deliver motivational and insightful speeches on a variety of themes. Tech-Tank offered a platform for budding innovators to pitch impactful technological ideas, while Tech-Hunt challenged participants with a thrilling treasure hunt infused with logic and technical clues. Creativity took center stage in Prompt Arena, where students generated imaginative prompts similar to those produced by AI models. Environmental awareness blended with innovation in Wealth out of E-Waste, where students crafted eco-friendly creations from discarded electronics. The Project-Expo gave students an opportunity to exhibit working models and hands-on projects. Quanta Quest 2.0 served as an outreach activity that simplified complex mathematical ideas for school students in an engaging manner. DBCE’s Got Talent was a lively showcase of artistic and cultural expressions from enthusiastic First-Year students. Another standout event was Debate Across Dimensions, where students explored thought-provoking topics through a film-based discussion format.



The Valedictory and Prize Distribution event was held in the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest,  Principal Dr. Neena Panandikar, Dr. Kala Nayak (Head of Science & Humanities), and faculty coordinators Mrs. Vaishali Parakhi and Ms. Carol Cardozo. Mr. Vivaan Raikar, Chairperson of the SEEDS Council, presented a comprehensive report of the year’s initiatives, reflecting the team’s hard work and enthusiasm. Principal Dr. Panandikar appreciated the council’s efforts and praised them for organizing events that were both meaningful and enriching for the student community.

The ceremony concluded with the declaration of the overall winners. First-Year Mechanical Engineering students emerged victorious, while First-Year ECS students were declared runners-up.
