On July 13th, 2024, ACM DBCE Students Chapter organized an engaging event featuring two captivating topics. Dr. Gargi Alavani, Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Technology, Goa, delivered a session on “Power Prediction of GPU using Static Analysis and Machine Learning.” Her presentation delved into essential machine learning concepts, focusing particularly on the prediction of GPU power through static analysis methods. Following Dr. Gargi’s informative talk, Mr. Mrunal Thakur, an AI Developer at Contractzy, discussed “Large Language Models.” His presentation shed light on the significance and applications of these advanced models in today’s technological landscape. The event was well-received by the ACM Chapter students, who found the sessions highly informative and enriching.
