Skill Enhancement Workshop by Training and Placement Cell

A three-day Skill Enhancement Workshop was organized by the Training and Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE) on 27th, 28th, and 29th March 2025 in the college seminar hall. The primary objective of the workshop was to equip students with essential soft skills and aptitude training to enhance their employability and support their overall career development.

The sessions were conducted by expert trainers Mr. Roshan Nisar and Ms. Nidhi Chauhan from The Leader, a reputed organization in the field of professional skill development.

Day 1:
The first day featured multiple sessions focusing on quantitative aptitude, resume writing, communication, and verbal ability. Students were guided on effectively structuring their resumes to showcase their strengths and taught methods to express their ideas confidently and coherently.

Day 2:
The second day covered logical reasoning and analytical puzzles as part of the aptitude training. This was followed by a hands-on session on group discussions, where students received valuable tips on participation strategies, clarity of thought, and confident communication.

Day 3:
The final day included an aptitude session, after which the focus shifted to interview techniques and email etiquette. Students were introduced to practical strategies for answering various types of interview questions and maintaining professionalism in email communication.

The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where the guest speakers offered personalized advice and addressed individual queries, providing valuable insights for the students’ future endeavors.
