Talk on Supply Chain Management

A Talk on Supply Chain Management was organized by Mechanical Engineering department on 5^th April for the BE students who had opted for Supply chain Management as a final year elective. The resource person was Mr. Dattaprasad Bhonsle- Sr.Vice President – Supply chain Management at Capricorn Logistics.

The topics mainly focused on the industry perspective of supply chain network and how supply chain is very important for any business to progress. Case studies of famous brands like Pizza Hut, DHL logistics were explained with the help of videos. The students were also told about the various job opportunities in the field of supply chain and the courses related to it.

The talk was indeed helpful for the students.
