TEACHER’S DAY 2019
Don Bosco College of Engineering celebrated Teacher’s Day on 14th September, 2019, with much enthusiasm and joy. The celebration was compered by Sonia Gama from T.E.Civil and Dayanand Sampath Naidu from F.E Civil. It began with the cutting of a cake by the Director- Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Rector Rev Fr. Paul D’Sousa, and Principal – Dr.Neena Panandikar, Registra Dr. Kala Nayak and the Heads of all Departments.
Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz spoke on the occasion, encouraging the staff members and appreciating their efforts towards the institute. He also played a beautiful video for the teachers.
Rev.Fr. Paul D’Souza addressed the gathering and encouraged the staff members to work together towards the vision of the institute
Dr. Neena S. P. Panandikar also spoke on the occasion and thanked the staff members for their efforts and enthusiasm that the staff members continue to put in. She complied a video showing the staff members in various events which was well appreciated by all.
The college band left everyone in awe with their music. Two very interesting games were held for the staff which was conducted by Ms.Sonia Gama from T.E.Civil and Mr.Dayanand Sampath Naidu from F.E Civil, in which the staff member had to solve riddles.The staff members exuberated much enthusiasm during the event.
Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Rev Fr. Paul D’Sousa, Principal Dr. Neena S. P. Panandikar distributed mementos to each staff member as a token of love and appreciation which was then followed by a staff picture.
FRESHER’S DAY 2019
The Fresher’s party was celebrated so as to generate the feeling of fraternity among seniors and juniors. Both the Director- Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz and Principal Dr. Neena Panandikar gave a very warm welcome to the students with a very motivating speech .This was followed by the college band that enthralled and mesmerized the audience with their mind blowing performances. The 2nd year computer girls gave a very nice dance performance which was followed by games for the students and some spot prizes too. The evening ended with DJ Gleeson playing the latest dance music for which the students danced their heart out. The Freshers loved the welcome given to them and appreciated the whole-hearted efforts of their seniors .It is said that a good start signifies a great end, and the Freshers could not have asked for a better kick off.
