The Department of Computer Engineering at Don Bosco College of Engineering organized TECHMANIA 2K25 on 11th August 2025, a vibrant and intellectually stimulating technical event that brought together creativity, innovation, and technical expertise under one platform.


The welcome address was delivered by Principal Dr. Neena Panandikar, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in fostering student growth and bridging the gap between academia and industry. Rector Fr. Ralin D’Souza then addressed the gathering, motivating students to keep learning and exploring new technological horizons.

A video presentation showcasing TECHMANIA 2K24 offered a glimpse into the past edition’s success and set the tone for this year’s celebrations. The digital lamp Lighting ceremony and floral welcome marked the symbolic inauguration of TECHMANIA 2K25. A major highlight of the event was the release of the departmental magazine “Tech Seed 2K25” by the Chief Guest.

The audience was introduced to Mr. Shawn Kenneth Fernandes, a distinguished entrepreneur and founder of Fluxatic Global Group. A visionary leader and creator, Mr. Fernandes is known for his entrepreneurial spirit and innovative contributions to multiple sectors. In his address, Mr. Fernandes shared valuable insights from his journey and encouraged students to pursue innovation with passion and resilience.

As a token of appreciation, mementos were presented to the esteemed guests and judges – Mr. Damodar Patnekar and Ms. Aarya Khedekar.

This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of the first, second, and third place winners from the B.E. Computer Engineering students.

Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Director, Don Bosco College Panaji was also present for the event. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Amey Kerkar, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, organizing team, student participants, and all who contributed to the success of the event.
