Technix 2025 Showcases Innovation in Engineering Projects

The Final Year Project Quality Assurance Committee of the Department of Electronics and Computer Science, in association with the Don Bosco Electronics and Telecommunication Society (DBEATS), organized Technix2025 from April 16 to May 9, 2025. The event culminated in the final round on May 9, conducted in a hybrid mode.
The inaugural ceremony featured Ms. Oindrilla Chatterjee, Manager – Digitization & AI at Adage Automation, as Chief Guest. Present on the occasion were Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz (Director, DBCE), Dr. Neena Panadikar (Principal), and Dr. D.S. Vidhya (HOD, ECS). The jury included Mr. Shravan Hegde (CTO & Co-founder, Contractzy) and Mr. Maynard Gomes (Assistant Manager, Godrej & Boyce). The event was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Anisha Cotta and Asst. Prof. Melba D’Souza.
Technix 2025 unfolded in two phases, with abstract shortlisting in April and final presentations on May 9. Over 30 project groups from top engineering colleges across India presented their ideas in the Hardware and Software categories, covering cutting-edge areas such as AI, Robotics, Embedded Systems, and Biomedical Engineering.

The event was compered by Ms. Rucha Sawant and Ms. Disha Talaulikar. The vote of thanks was delivered by Asst. Prof. Melba D’Souza. Student coordinators Mr. Loxley Dias and Mr. Sherwin Dias played a key role in the smooth execution of the event.
