UBA-Team, DBCE in association with DHRISHNI organizes “Math Mania-Play, Learn, Speak!”

As part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), in collaboration with DHRISHNI, organized an engaging educational event titled “Math Mania-Play, Learn, Speak!” for the students of Government High School Balli, on August 28, 2024, The program featured two main activities:

1. Educational Presentation on Simplified Math-Concepts: Students from the SE Computer and Electronics and Computer Science Departments at DBCE presented their ideas on mensuration and trigonometry. They emphasized the real-life applications of these mathematical concepts to make them more relevant and accessible to the school students, by including fun activities.
2. Elocution Competition: The event also included an elocution competition themed “Fun with Mathematics,” where school students gave speeches on various practical uses of mathematics. Prizes were awarded to the winners for their exceptional performances.

The initiative was well-received by the faculty members at Government High School Balli, who commended the program’s effectiveness and impact. The event “Math Mania-Play, Learn, Speak!” was coordinated by Mrs. Mohini Naik, Assistant Professor, Electronics and Computer Science, Mrs. Vaishali Parakhi, Assistant Professor, Science and Humanities Department, and Mrs. Sweta Morajkar, Assistant Professor, Computer Engineering Department.
