‘Uzvaad’ – Entrepreneurship Bootcamp by BNI Goa Region attended by E-CELL

Students from the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, accompanied by E-Cell Convener Mr. Amey Shet Tilve, attended Uzvaad—an entrepreneurship bootcamp organized by the BNI Goa Region. The event took place on 22nd April 2025 at Taj Cidade De Goa, Dona Paula.

Uzvaad proved to be an inspiring and enriching platform for aspiring entrepreneurs, offering deep insights into the startup world. The bootcamp featured several accomplished speakers who shared their experiences and strategies for building and scaling successful ventures.

One of the prominent speakers was Mr. D.S. Prashant, Head of the Startup and IT Promotion Cell, who offered valuable guidance on navigating the startup ecosystem. Other noteworthy speakers included Mr. Amol Palkar, Mr. Gautam Verlekar, and Mr. Raj Kapoor, each of whom addressed different aspects of entrepreneurial development and growth strategies.

The highlight of the event was the keynote address delivered by Mr. Varun Sridhar, CEO of Paytm Services. His compelling narrative—from modest beginnings to leading one of India’s foremost fintech companies—left a lasting impact on the audience.

The bootcamp was a great success, providing students with both inspiration and practical knowledge. The participants returned with renewed motivation and a sharper focus on their entrepreneurial goals.
