Van Mahotsav 2021

Van Mahotsav was celebrated on July 12, 2021 at Don Bosco College of Engineering in association with the SEEDS (Stairway towards Empowering engineering Dreams to Success) Council of the Department of Science and Humanities. Present on the occasion was the Director – Rev Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Principal – Dr. Neena Panandikar, Registrar and Head of Department of Science and Humanities- Dr. Kala Nayak and staff members.
The students of the previous academic year 2019-20 made Seed bombs of vegetables and fruits under the guidance of Ms. Grebian Alemao, Ms. Steefni Cruz and Mr. Sanford Mascarenhas during a SEEDS event.
This year, it was decided that these Seed bombs would be distributed to staff members so that they could plant the same in their gardens. Rev Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, and Dr. Neena Panandikar were seen distributing the seed bombs to the staff members. Dr. Neena Panandikar in her address said “this is a small gesture towards celebrating Van Mahotsav during pandemic times.”
The coordinators of the event were Ms. Ulpa Waingankar and Mrs. Maya Lin Noronha.
