The Entrepreneurship Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, hosted Venture Visionaries on 13th September 2025, an event aimed at immersing final-year students in the world of entrepreneurship. Designed as a real-world simulation, the initiative encouraged students to think like investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts while exploring trends in sales, marketing, and business strategy.

Coordinated by Prof. Sanjeel Naik (Faculty Coordinator) and Mr. Josiah Fernandes (Student Coordinator), participants conducted market research on a company of their choice and presented their findings in six-minute PowerPoint presentations. The top three teams were recognized, and all participants received e-certificates.

Presentations showcased diverse industries:
Josiah Fernandes & Elden Rodrigues analyzed Goldwind Technology Co., Ltd., highlighting its innovations in wind energy and offshore expansion.
Siddhi Raney, Sonal Gaokar & Faizan Akabani presented DeHaat’s role in transforming Indian smallholder farming through technology and market integration.
Pranav Kerker & Ashden Mascarenhas explored Tata Motors’ EV dominance, its 40% market share, and ₹35,000 crore investment in clean mobility.

Judge Mr. Swapnil Ramani, Gold Medalist in Manufacturing Science and Engineering, praised the students’ research and urged them to apply similar analyses to Goan startups and small-scale industries.

More than a competition, Venture Visionaries served as a platform for collaboration, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial inspiration, equipping students to shape the future of technology, business, and community growth.
