VIRTUAL INSTALLATION OF 9th MESH COUNCIL 2020-2021

The virtual inaugural ceremony of the Mechanical Engineering Students Hub (MESH) for the year 2020-2021 was held on  October 3, 2020. The Chief Guest for the function was Mr. Ranjan Sridharan, Manager, HTC- Passive Safety Lab, ARAI Pune.  Also present were Dr.Neena Panandikar (Principal),and Prof. Ajit Salunke (HOD Mechanical Engineering Department).

Mr. Ranjan Sridharan (Chief guest) gave a brief overview of ARAI Pune and the research and job opportunities available in the organisation. It was followed by a session on Star ratings in Cars which emphasized on the safety levels followed in designing an automobile.. Dr. Neena Panandikar in her message lauded the achievements of the students and encouraged students to build their knowledge in this pandemic times by learning new skills online. Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz in his message shared his thoughts, motivated students and congratulated the new MESH Council. The session was attended by TE and BE students through Google Meet.

Prof. Ajit Salunke appreciated the efforts put in by the students of the MESH council for the year 2019-2020. Mr. Lincoln Viegas , Editor of MESH 2019-20 briefed about all the events carried out by MESH in the last year.

The new MESH council consisting of the Chairman- Mr Bradley Rodrigues, Secretary- Seattle Rodrigues ,  Treasurer- Mr Binay Sharma,  Editor- Mr Rajay Naik, Lady Representative- Shreya Naik and Student Executive members– Ishan Naik, Simon Rodrigues, Shubam Rane, & Clive Rodrigues were inducted by the Chief Guest- Mr. Ranjan Sridharan .

Mr. Bradley Rodrigues, MESH chairman proposed a vote of thanks.

The program was coordinated by the MESH Coordinators Prof. Suraj Marathe and Prof. Sanjeel Naik.
