Visit to India Energy Week 2026

Students of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda–Goa, undertook a field visit to India Energy Week 2026, held from 27th to 30th January 2026 at the ONGC Advanced Training Institute (ATI), Betul, Goa. They were accompanied by faculty members, Dr. Ajit Salunke and Prof. Aniket Naik., with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to emerging trends and technologies in the global energy sector.
India Energy Week is India’s flagship international energy event, bringing together policymakers, global energy leaders, technology providers, financial institutions, researchers, and academia to deliberate on critical issues related to energy security, sustainability, decarbonisation, and the transition to clean energy. The exhibition featured over 700 global exhibitors spanning domains such as Hydrogen and Green Energy, Renewable Power, Biofuels, Petrochemicals, LNG Ecosystem, Fuel & Energy Processing, Engineering Solutions, Digitalisation & AI (IIoT), and theMake in India Zone.
Students had the opportunity to explore exhibits from leading national and international companies including ONGC, Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), Reliance Industries, Adani Group, Siemens, General Electric (GE), Sulzer, ABB, and Larsen & Toubro, along with several international country pavilions. These exhibits showcased cutting-edge technologies, integrated energy solutions, net-zero pathways, smart energy systems, and next-generation clean energy innovations. The visit enabled students to interact directly with industry professionals and technical experts, observe live demonstrations, and understand real-world applications.
