Training & Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Goa organized a Webinar on BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY GRADUATE STUDIES for the students of Don Bosco College of Engineering on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 6.00 p.m. IST. via virtual platform Google Meet.
Lisa Gallagher, Assistant Dean for Research and Graduate Studies at Binghamton University was the speaker for the webinar. She presented an overview of Binghamton University. She mentioned about The Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science as a top-ranked engineering and computer science education in upstate New York with exceptional faculty members. She presented a broad overview of student life at Binghamton where they are nurtured with broad-based skills and the entrepreneurial spirit to succeed in fields ranging from mechanical engineering to hospital operations and more. He spoke at length about the admission process and the procedure adopted by Binghamton University during COVID-19 condition.
At the end of the webinar, the host, Avila Naik, Training & Placement Officer showed gratitude to Professor Krishnaswami “Hari” Srihari, Dean of the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University and Director of the Watson Institute of Systems Excellence for the initiative and collaboration with Don Bosco College of Engineering. She also thanked Dr. Michael Testani for this initiative. She thanked Lisa Gallagher for the wonderful session and interaction with everyone.
