Webinar on ‘Game of Seconds-Forcing to think, what’s most important’ conducted by DBCE FSAI Chapter
FSAI Students Chapter – Don Bosco College of Engineering(DBCE), Fatorda organized a webinar on “Game of Seconds-Forcing to think, what’s most important” in association with FSAI Goa chapter on July 3, 2021. The speaker for the session was Dr. Rakesh Arya, Scheduling Coach & Unconventional Inspirational Speaker. In all, around 125 students attended the program. The event commenced with a welcome address by Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar. She appreciated the efforts of the FSAI student chapter and the organizing team. Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz welcomed the speaker and enlightened the audience on the relevance of dreams in one’s personal and professional life . The President of FSAI Goa Chapter, Dr. Jennifer Lewis admired the support of DBCE management and commended the FSAI team of DBCE for conducting various activities under the banner of the chapter.
Mr. Bahar Phadte gave an introduction of the speaker. Dr. Arya spoke about dreams of modern life, challenges and possibilities in challenges. He also emphasized on the importance of fire safety and highlighted on compact firefighting equipments. He said “Two most important things to be done in case of Fire is first, try to extinguish. If you can’t extinguish, evacuate.” He concluded his session with a small meditation technique to calm the mind. Mr. Tanmay Bhagat, President of FSAI Student Chapter – DBCE presented the Vote of Thanks. The event was hosted by Ms. Benecia Colaco. The coordinator for the event was Prof. Saurabh Raikar, Assistant Professor and Convenor was Prof. Ajit Salunke, Head of the Department.
