Workshop on Automobile Engineering held at DBCE
Mechanical Engineering Students Hub (MESH) along with Mechanical Department organized a workshop on Automobile Engineering on 8th March 2019 during their annual techfest ‘Ignitron 2019’. Total 48 students from the colleges across the state attended the workshop. The resource person for the workshop was Prof. Saurabh Raikar. It was conducted in 2 sessions. The morning session included presentations on basic systems of automobile components & working of IC engines, cooling, lubrication system and the transmission system. The afternoon session consisted of practical applications of all the systems in an actual automobile. Mr. Joyston Menezes and Mr. Dattaguru Sawardekar gave practical demonstration of the working of engines and other systems of an automobile. The students thanked the Head of Department, Prof. Ajit Salunke for organizing this activity in the institution. The HOD gave assurance of organizing advance course in the field of Automobile Engineering in the coming year. Prof. Suraj Marathe and Prof. Sanjil Naik were the coordinators for Ignitron 2019.
