ROBOCOM at Techtwister 2026 – RIT

The Robotics team of DBCE (ROBOCOM) participated in Techtwister 2026, held at RIT Goa on 24th March 2026. The event comprised various technical competitions, including the Line Follower Robot (LFR) category, which witnessed significant participation and competition. Robocom team demonstrated exceptional technical proficiency and coordination, securing both the first and second positions in the LFR event.

The first position was secured by Mazen Leitao, Vallan Mascarenhas, Kingel Fernandes, and Danely Gomes. The second position was achieved by Kingel Fernandes, Clayne Pereira, Danely Gomes, and Mazen Leitao. This notable accomplishment reflects the team’s dedication, effective teamwork, and strong understanding of robotics concepts. The achievement of securing the top two positions brought recognition and prestige to the institution.

The success story of ROBOCOM is continually supported by the institution’s strong encouragement and guidance. The team sincerely thanks the management of Don Bosco College of Engineering for cultivating a progressive and innovative atmosphere. Deep appreciation is extended to the Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar, and the Director, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Fernandes, for their steadfast support towards technical initiatives and student development. The team also acknowledges the invaluable contribution of the ROBOCOM club coordinator, Prof. Flavia Leitao, whose mentorship and encouragement were key drivers of this achievement.
