ROBOCOM at Cultrang – IIT Goa

The Robotics Club of DBCE (ROBOCOM) participated in the MazeAmaze event at Cultrang held at IIT Goa on 31^st January 2026. Around ten teams from various colleges took part in the competition. Robocom was represented by three teams led by Mazen Leitao, Vallan Mascarenhas, and Reuben Fernandes. The event consisted of a single round where bots were required to solve a maze in the shortest possible time.

Vallan Mascarenhas’ bot delivered an exceptional performance by solving the maze in the shortest time among all participants, securing 1st place in the event. Overall, the event was a great success for Robocom, showcasing innovation, efficiency, and strong problem-solving skills.

ROBOCOM’s achievements continue to be strengthened by the consistent support and encouragement of the institution. The team gratefully acknowledges the management of Don Bosco College of Engineering for promoting an environment that inspires innovation. They extend their sincere thanks to the Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar, and the Director, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Fernandes, for their ongoing encouragement of technical excellence and co-curricular growth. Special recognition is also given to the ROBOCOM club coordinator, Prof. Flavia Leitao, whose unwavering mentorship and valuable guidance were crucial to the team’s accomplishments.
