Higher Studies Orientation Session Held at DBCE, Fatorda

The Training and Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda organized an informative session on Higher Studies on 2 February 2026 for students aspiring to pursue further education after graduation.
The session was specially arranged for students who have opted to continue with higher studies, aiming to provide clarity on overseas education opportunities and application procedures. The speaker for the day was Nisha Standley, Admission Manager at University of South Wales.
Ms. Standley gave a comprehensive overview of the entire application process, covering key aspects such as university admissions for bachelor’s and master’s programs, study visas, education loans, tuition fees, accommodation, and part-time job opportunities abroad. She also guided students on planning timelines and preparing documentation required for successful applications.
In addition, students were informed about coaching support available for competitive and language proficiency exams including IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, FMAT, as well as foreign languages such as German, French, and Japanese.
The interactive session helped students gain valuable insights into global education pathways and clarified many common doubts regarding studying overseas. Overall, the program proved to be highly beneficial, empowering students to make informed decisions about their academic future.
