DBCE Student Secures Runner-Up at National-Level Hackathon

Narendra Salunke from Don Bosco College of Engineering, along with three students from other institutes, secured the Runner-Up position at the Secure AI Software and Systems Hackathon 2026, a national-level event organized by BITS Goa in collaboration with IIT Madras on 30th and 31st March 2026.

The team, named CodeBusters, comprised Narendra Salunke (Don Bosco College of Engineering), Nathan Valve (National Institute of Technology Goa), Prajwal Naik (Padre Conceição College of Engineering), and Sherwin Silva (National Institute of Technology Goa).

Out of more than 230 registered teams, CodeBusters was shortlisted for the “Dark Web Investigation” problem statement, where they developed an innovative solution addressing cybersecurity challenges.
