Baking Session

DHRISHNI – Women’s cell at Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE) organized a session on “Baking ” on November 25, 2023 for the faculty members of Don Bosco College of Engineering. The main objective of the event was to learn basic baking techniques.

The faculty co-ordinators of the event were Mrs. Trima P. Fernandes e Fizardo and Ms. Carol Cardozo

Dr. Neena Panandikar, Chairperson of DHRISHNI   introduced the Speaker, Mrs. Safalya  Bhupesh Prabhu Dessai, resource person and cake artist. The dish for the day was muffins. She demonstrated the method to bake vanilla muffins along with frosting them. She demonstrated two frosting types: Buttercream frosting and Chocolate ganache. She also shared a few tips and tricks with regard to baking.

The participants enjoyed the cupcakes that were baked.

The session was fun-filled, while all the participants had a good time learning the basics of baking and were enthusiastic about trying the cupcakes out themselves.
