Launch-in-12 organized by Entrepreneurship Cell

The Launch-in-12 Hackathon, organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) Council 2026, was successfully conducted as the inaugural event of the newly formed council. The hackathon commenced at 7:00 PM on 13 March 2026 and concluded at 7:00 AM on 14 March 2026, offering participants a continuous twelve-hour window to ideate, develop, and present innovative technological solutions.

A total of 17 teams participated in the event, with 11 teams competing in the Frontend category and 6 teams in the Full Stack category. Throughout the hackathon, participants displayed commendable technical proficiency, creativity, and teamwork while working within stringent time constraints. The event provided an engaging platform for E-Cell members to demonstrate their skills and collaborate on problem-solving initiatives.

Following a rigorous evaluation process, 10 teams were shortlisted for the next round, including 4 teams from the Full Stack category and 6 teams from the Frontend category. The selection was based on key criteria such as innovation, design quality, functionality, and overall execution of the developed solutions.

The organizers express their sincere gratitude to the esteemed judges for their valuable time and insights. The Full Stack category was evaluated by Dr. Gaurang Patkar, Head of the Department and Professor, Department of Computer Engineering, DBCE, and Mr. Sai Rane, entrepreneur and Founder of Neural Kissan. The Frontend category was judged by Dr. Shreyash Simu, Associate Professor, Department of ECS, DBCE, and Prof. Amey Kerkar, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Engineering, DBCE. Their expertise and constructive feedback significantly contributed to the success of the event.

Exclusively organized for E-Cell members, the Launch-in-12 Hackathon marked a significant milestone and a promising start for the E-Cell Council 2026. The event reflected the enthusiasm, dedication, and collaborative spirit of both the organizing team and the participants.
