Mr. Deron Rodrigues at Vidnyan Dhara 2026

As part of the Vidnyan Dhara 2026 – National Science Day Mega Science Series, organized by the Goa State Higher Education Council and the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa, Mr. Deron Rodrigues was invited as an Expert Speaker to deliver two sessions for school students on communication technologies.

The first session titled “The Evolution of Communication Systems – From Telegraphs to 6G” was conducted on 29 January 2026 at Murgaon High School, Sada, Murmugao at 10.30am. The session traced the development of communication technologies from early telegraph systems to modern wireless networks, highlighting the progression from 1G to 5G and introducing the concept of 6G.

The second session titled “Recent Trends in 6G Communications – The Future of Intelligent Connectivity” was held on 5 February 2026 at Camilo Pereira Memorial Government High School, Baina, Vasco at 10.30am. This talk focused on emerging technologies in next-generation communication systems, including artificial intelligence in networks, Internet of Things (IoT), and intelligent connectivity.

Both sessions were interactive and generated keen interest among students, helping them understand the rapid evolution of communication technologies and their future possibilities.
