Session on “Basics of Financial Planning and Taxation”

Dhrishni the woman’s cell at Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE) organized a session on “Basics of Financial Planning and Taxation” on October 27, 2022. The main purpose of the event was to create awareness among staff about Financial Planning. The resource person Ms. Manalee Verenkar, founder  and CEO of financial wisdom mentioned need for financial Planning  .She mentioned; “Never to depend on single income. Make investment to create a 2^nd source”. It is equally important to invest while saving.  Investments are to be kept separate from Insurance. Health insurance along with term insurance is needed as when the need arises one should not touch the investment. Also one should decide their goals and accordingly plan. The event was organized by Ms. Manisha Fal Dessai of the Computer Engineering Dept. and Ms. Kimberly Morais of the ECS/ETC Dept.
