DBCE Students at HackWarz

A team of three students Bibisifhat, Gretchen Pereira, and Atharv Batule participated in HackWarz 2026, a state-level hackathon organized by the Department of Computer Applications at Rosary College of Commerce & Arts, Navelim, Goa, in collaboration with Luarc Technology Pvt. Ltd. Working under the theme “AI for Smart Energy Systems & Predictive Analytics,” the team developed their solution within a 24-hour time frame and was honored with the Peer’s Icon Award during the valedictory ceremony, recognizing projects appreciated by fellow participants.

The hackathon was conducted on 12th and 13th March 2026 in a hybrid format, with the initial phase held online and final presentations conducted offline at the Rosary College campus. The event witnessed participation from over 13 teams representing more than 10 colleges across Goa, with each team collaborating intensively to design and present innovative solutions to real-world problem statements.
