ROBOCOM at TekFest 2.0 – DBCE

The Robotics team of DBCE (ROBOCOM) participated in the Line Follower event at TekFest 2.0 held at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, on 8^th April 2026. Around eight teams from colleges all over Goa took part in the competition.

Robocom was represented by three teams led by Jezziah Dsouza, Jayden Fernandes, and Soham Gawas. All three teams successfully cleared Round 1 and advanced to Round 2. In the finals, only four teams qualified, including a team from GEC. Robocom delivered an outstanding performance, securing the top two positions. Jezziah’s team won 1st place, while Jayden’s team secured 2nd place. Soham’s team finished 3rd. Overall, the event was a great success for Robocom, showcasing strong technical skills and teamwork.

ROBOCOM’s continued accomplishments are greatly influenced by the institution’s persistent encouragement and guidance. The team extends its sincere gratitude to the management of Don Bosco College of Engineering for fostering innovation and creativity. They would like to specially thank the Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar, and the Director, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Fernandes, for their unwavering support of technical and co-curricular pursuits. Heartfelt appreciation is also conveyed to the ROBOCOM club coordinator, Prof. Flavia Leitao, whose dedicated guidance and constant motivation were instrumental in leading the team to success.
